Visited in April near the end of the cherry blossom season. The park has beautiful hanging cherry blossom trees, as well as the common someiyoshino variety. You could spend quite a while just taking pictures of the pretty flowers.

Even being in the middle of the city, this is park is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed they escape from the buildings.

We came to Japan on April 17th so the most possible place to enjoy full bloom cherry blossom is in Tohoku Region. This park offers one of the best choice. It is walking distance from Sendai Station (20-25 minutes) or you can take train to...More

Next to the baseball stadium, the park offers places to relax. The playground with a maze attract kids!
