We arrived this place by taking the cable car, and it was Sunday morning, there was a service going inside. It was amazing to see the service conducted in Arabic and with Arabic style music. The church itself is a wonderful modern architecture to visit.

an exeption from my food-related review. I visited Harissa during my last stay in lebanon, and I was just positively impressed by the gathering of poeple of all sort of religions, escoecially I loved to see Christian and Muslim together, all for praying the Virgin mary Our Lady of Lebanon

This is one of my favorite spiritual and religious spots in the country. When standing at the feet of the Virgin Mary statue at the top I feel transported. I like visiting Harissa at night when there is low foot fall, and no tourists. It helps me focus on my prayers. This sanctuary is a must visit for prayers only... More

You have to go there to see old and new churches...you can pray peacefully...all is quiet...silence is everywhere...I like to go and pray there from time to time...you feel close to God and our Lady Mother of God...it's highly recommended
