This is my third time here. I have seen this attraction improved after many years. Young kids would enjoy exploring this place as there are tame ostriches roaming around where you could pet, feed and snap selfies with.

Very educational trips especially for school children and adults with little chance of visiting Africa. Situated close to the Desaru resorts and not too far from the Pengerang seafood restaurants

A short drive from Jb, worth the trip. The guide is very knowledgeable and passionate about ostrich, he also had many funny anecdotes to tell. Must try the ostrich steak and omelet, and get an ostrich egg light as souvenir.

Not too difficult to find after a 30minute drive from Lotus Desaru beach resort; take highway 91 which was a lot smoother, compared to highway 92 which had potholes and more traffic. The farm itself was quite small, but enough for an hour plus visit. The explanation was informative, but a little long. We were raring to go feed the... More

Farm: A lovely rustic farm holding the big birds in number of enclosures. Farm is well maintained by the friendly staffs. Farm entrance fee of MYR15 includes a short and brief educational tour. In less than 30 mins, you can complete the walk around in the farm. There are 2 big birds which roam freely in the visitor area. You... More

Since young, I have been taught ostriches are aggresive birds, and would peck and chase people. However the ostriches here are mostly tame, and a few of them are even left outside the pens to wander around. You can take pictures with the ostriches, and pet/touch them. Just don't go near the male ostriches. The guides are very knowledgeable and... More

The drive up to Ostrich Farm was about an extra 30-40 minutes from where the roundabout/resorts are. Watch for signages! We almost missed it thinking the place was close. Once you have located the place, drive in to the kampung area. We were greeted warmly by the family/staff at the Farm. We were briefed on the ostrich egg, and then... More

Our family of 7 adults, 2 children (5 yrs and 11 yrs), 2 toddlers below 2 yrs decided to visit the Ostrich farm during our weekend staycation in Desaru. If you havn't been to a Ostrich farm before... yes, definitely worth to give it a try when you are here. The 2 children enjoyed themselves thoroughly as they explored around... More
