We visited the market on one of our nights in Langkawi, but didn't get the chance to visit again. The markets change location on different nights. So make sure that you get a map which shows where they are on each night. We thought that the goods on offer was limited. But the food looked fantastic.

Mainly food but plenty of good choices. Satay chicken sticks are a must try. Also saw stalls selling fresh seafood but no place to cook them. Foodies paradise!

It was ok but nothing compared to the night markets in Thailand and Vietnam. We got some satay kebabs but gave up on them pretty quickly when we found raw chicken in the middle. Other snacks on offer like the little coconut pancakes were tasty.

They have the night market on different places on different days of the week. it starts around 5pm and the best food will be sold out before 6.30pm so be sure to go as early as you can. All food items are very cheap. Only up to RM 5 per item. Satay Chicken is the most delicious. We took few... More

Predominately local food on sale. We had peanut pancakes. Very nice! Ended up both having a second one. 50 cent each. We got some spring rolls which were a bit avg. Not straight off the pan so only warm. Also got some tasty keow tuey type noodle dish for 3rm. This was straight off a hot pan so we knew... More

We tried as many of the local foods as we could, and hardly seemed to spend any money. Most of what we ate was very tasty and a great experience in langkawi

For a real buzz of local culture get yourself down here. The food is super cheap (1rm for 3 spring rolls etc) and amazing quality. Grab a little of everything to get the best experience. The vendors are all friendly and will recommend if you ask. All manner of food and drink here but no alcohol I could find. You... More

I went to the one in Padang Matsirat. Bought grilled chicken, grilled corn, Papaya Som Tam (Thai salad) and Satay. I must say that they all are very nice, especially grilled chicken (love the gravy - very unique) and Som Tam. They are a lot of stalls selling these food and also other food. Nevertheles, 2 things I don't like... More
