Visited Mardi Langkawi Agro Technology Park. Park admission fee will be MYR 25 per adult. A tram will brought us to a pavilion in the middle of the park. All visitors invited to a tropical fruits (water melon, papaya, pineapple, dragon fruit) buffet. After the buffet embarked on the same tram to sightsee ths farm. 4 stopovers. Saw the jackfruit... I had no idea what to expect from this place, but a cab driver mentioned it to us so gave it a go. It cost 25 ringgits each (£5) for a 30 minute tour. You climb aboard a open air van and are driven around the farm, up to a canteen where you sample the fruits (which were so fresh... More

If you want to spend couple of hours exploring various fruit trees, plant, herbs in a nice fresh environment this is a place worth visiting. Plenty of tropical fruits and the tour guides are great too. Enjoy the free fruit spread (not too much but few) and wish the spread includes Jack fruit, banana, coconut & other available fruits :)

Had to wait for the lorry (16 seater at the back). Don't seems to have a system, and although chairs were provide at the waiting area, no staff to manage the queue. Waited for more than half an hour before the lorry came. Saw many visitors started to move towards the single lorry. Luckily the driver (didn't get his name)... More

Not bad the trip to go around the farm. They served red and yellow watermelon, honeydew, rambutans, mata kucing, guava and pineapple. Some are sweet and some are sour. It can be more interesting if the driver can explain the fruit trees to the visitors as not all may recognize the trees.

If you are interested in horticulture or framing you will find this quite disappointing. The tour bus hardly makes a stop at any of the growing areas. It makes a beeline for the fruit buffet and then heads straight to the exit. On the way there are stops for silly photos.... Which some people found very entertaining..... I found it... More
