The place is free entry so expect no maintenance and rubbish everywhere. The sand here was really black here becuz of the mineral. There's some interesting myth behind this beach. Go read it at the stairs. After that buy some souvenirs, i find the souvenirs...More

Met 3 van loads of school kids cleaning up this beach where there was little rubbish. More rubbish at Tanjung Rhu Beach thats where they need to go.

If you want to see beach with black sand then you must go to this place, kindly note black sand is not due to polluted water.

I still worded why this location is a tourist attraction of Langkawi????? It looks that some black oil or liquid is on the beach. looks dirty beach. However, the view for photo shooting in the sun set is nice.

That some thing interesting beach that it has black sand there and that some thing new for us. must visit this place to see the blank sand. but there are not many visitor but only few to see this

We drove with the scooter to this place. It was market on the map, so i though what is it.... A large parking space, some shops and a stairway down. And ow yes the sand was black. Just visit it and on your way again....More
