The hike to the falls was pleasant, and the gorge is impressive, but our visit was during the dry season and the falls were, well, non-existent.

Short walk to the first small pool, 5 minutes. To the big pool it is like 2 Min modell but steeper so old people might struggle. Very nice to cool down here and a cool place to see butterflies and dragonflies. Nice water. Some monkeys came but they just chill, don't feed them and keep food inside bag at all... More

Sure, there are more exciting an/or bigger waterfalls on Langkawi. But if you are around, don't miss it. It's just a short walk.

This waterfall is actually way bigger than I had anticipated! It is pretty high, and really quite beautiful! Nice place to visit for a few hours. There is a pool for swimming, and lots of rocks to sit and relax on. Pretty easy to find, and free!!

Went here with my wife & 2 teenage boys... we loved it, swam in the little area below the waterfall & looked up about 80m above us to see the water cascading down... very picturesque. Popular place with the locals. A few monkeys around as well although they left us alone!

The water is too cold and the stones are slippery. Be careful when you walk there. I fall down there. 😭

Our visit followed rain, which meant we had the place to ourselves and saw much more water than usual at this time of year. A slightly slippery walk through the jungle setting - take sensible shoes. A recent man-made series of cascades with monkeys for company is to be found on the other side of the road.
