    Beautiful & Clean Public Beach
Nice public beach. Surprisingly quite clean and well maintained. There are fast food chains like KFC, MacDonald’s as well local restaurants and traditional stalls too. Along the beach side they have push carts selling souvenirs as well. We went during their public holiday and it was jammed packed with people. Can be crowded too in the normal days’ evening when people bring their families from the nearby town after work. The beach is only about 15-20 min drive from town.

    Beach by Kuantan town ⛱️
It was good to be back at this place. Seems to have about the same type of shops and eateries since maybe 15 years ago. Love sitting at this beach as it faces the South China Sea. Strong wind, perfect for flying kites 😂. Children friendly as well. Fast food joints such as McDonalds and KFC available to eat, chill and rest. Plenty of parking spaces for vehicles. This is a nice spot to visit when in Kuantan. Just a few minutes to town, I recommend to make a stop here. There is a golf course here as well for those who golfs. Plenty of hotel choices too. Plan your trip here soon 🤗

Serene Nighttime Escape with Varied Dining Choices
A nighttime visit to Teluk Chempedak after dining at Restoran Ana Ikan Bakar Petai offered an enchanting escape. The beach's tranquil beauty, with its gentle breeze and serene ambiance, provided a refreshing stroll post-dinner, perfect for relaxation. However, limited streetlights affected visibility, suggesting a daytime visit to fully appreciate the picturesque scenery and breathtaking views under the sun. What stood out were the numerous nearby coffee shops, ideal for gatherings, along with popular eateries like McDonald’s, Starbucks, KFC, Subway, and others, offering convenience and diverse dining options catering to various preferences. Teluk Chempedak is a charming destination, providing a serene respite and a range of dining choices. For the complete experience and to capture the stunning views, a daytime visit is recommended, ensuring a delightful outing for both relaxation and culinary adventures.

    TELUK CHEMPEDAK. KUANTAN. MALAYSIA
1)Beautiful Beach with Fine powdery sand; and voted as the BEST Beach in KUANTAN. 2)The area is Well developed, Many Big fast food chains (Example: KFC. McDonald...)have their presence here; apart from many local food stalls around the area. 3)A maned and well maintained shower/Toilet also here; with low charges M$1/entry 4)There is a Save Guard on duty, off at late evening (6-7pm?) 5)The beach is free of Major rubbish and accord clean water to swim 6)Good place for the Evening; as it is too HOT During the day.

Great beach!

We saw a clear and calm water and a stirred water with waves,
it is changeable, depends on weather and season.

There are very cute monkeys, families, small and medium.

No hassle at all, but PLEASE DO NOT FEED THEM and DO NOT HOLD ANY FOOD in your hands passing the pedestrian bridge,

they can snatch it easily and frighten the kids.

Humans make them aggressive, we witnessed a man feeding a male monkey and making all sorts of bad gestures to it. Not nice.

Please respect the Nature.

The beach has lots of cafes, fresh fruit, souvenirs and you will enjoy it there.
Easy to get a Grab taxi too :)

Nice beach for couples and families. Very lively with live music, beach facing fast food chains, local eateries and cafes, and has nice walkway overlooking the beach leading to trekking paths into the mini jungle where you'll be greeted with not overly friendly monkeys. Relatively the cleanest beach in the east coast. It's ironic that you can't find a single cempedak goreng at Teluk Cempedak though, which remains the only disappointment about the place for me. 4 out 5 recommended. Unless if you want to find cempedak goreng.

A clean sandy beach, the sands not too fine grain, the provenance from the eroded granite rock.
It was raining in the morning, overcast for much of morning the late afternoon, and viola the sun peaked through the clouds.
