A spectacular waterfall, well worth a visit. Unfortunately the facilities on site were poor; the toilets had standing water on the floor but no running water where it mattered!

Very cold and clean. A good place to chill with family and friends. Very crowded during the weekend. Limited place to change clothes. The washrooms were under renovation. A scenic place to get good pictures.

It’s a very beautiful waterfall. And a nice location to stay their with a tent overnight( people were doing picnic ). Easily accessible from the parking lot (5 mins walk from the parking lot) . People can hike up
to reach the peak of the waterfall.. There is a hanging bridge to click some snaps

This is a very picturesque location and easily accessed as it is only about 100m from the car park. There are a couple of food stands which were not open when I visited.
Be careful in the currents though, two people died a couple of days after I visited.

The place opens at 9am so go early to avoid the crowd and the heat. The water is clear and cool and the waterfall beating on your body provides a great massage. Be careful with small children as the water does suddenly get deep at various places.
The new SOP is observed quite strictly here with good reason. Everyone has to register and have their temperature taken at the guard house before entering. Parking space is ample. There are also stalls selling finger food in case you get hungry after your swim.
My family and I went on a weekday so we were lucky not to be bombarded with a huge crowd. Easily spent an hour here, just enjoying the cool water and then soaking up the sun on the many rocks nearby. Cleanliness is maintained too, hopefully all visitors will continue to keep this lovely spot clean.

Except the water muddy, it was a great outing for children who love playing at the small terrain with cold water. As we was thrre just after the raining stopped the forest officer stopping anyone going nearer to the main waterfall pool. Many BBQ and some bring their own food. For first time children experience of waterfall, its a must go in your itinerary if you driving to sungai lembing

One of our favourite places we have visited in Malaysia... The whole experience was lovely and it is litter free, well-organised and beautiful...

We brought our family (kids and parents) to this waterfall. We had a great time there, considering the hot day...the water was cooling and we spend almost 2 hours here. There is toilet there and shower area. There is only 1 to 2 stalls selling snacks and drinks.certainly a nice day out..

I’m thinking of a trip to the waterfall after reading the reviews. Is the walk to the waterfall ok? I’ll be carrying my toddler so I’ll definitely go for it if the walk is smooth or not so much obstacles.
Thanks in advance!

Are there leeches in the area?

Sg Pandan Waterfall does not have leeches in the area.
From the car park, there were gravel / tar road, followed by concrete steps then natural earth soil with some tree roots potruding from them. No mud or muddy terrain where leeches thrived on.
Can I use the Rapid Kuantan Bus to reach there?

I don't think so as Sg Pandan Waterfall is way off the beaten track.. Maybe check with Rapid Kuantan for confirmation.
As far as I know Rapid Kuantan do ply to Sg Lembing town.

I'm a lone traveller.
1) How best can I reach there & back to city Kuantan.
2) Is there a locker facilities at the Waterfall area where I can keep my valuables.

We hired a car and drove to the waterfall but I believe some of the hotels may have tour trips you can pay to go on. The trips may include a few other locations also.
No lockers available. if you go early on a weekday it's pretty quiet. We only saw about 5 people whilst there and non of them swam so we had the water to ourselves
Do they close on Friday ?

Yes, We're close on Friday except School & Public Holiday.
