We had a good 1 day tour to Cameron Highlands with Raythetour. The guide, Siew was friendly and knowledgeable to share the history of the attractions. He was also very accommodating and tried his best to attend to our requests.

Travelled with Raythetour. Tom was our guide. Tom is a very knowledgeable guide. As this was our first far distance travel with my family, I was concern abt motion sickness up Cameron Highland. Tom drove well and we were able to enjoy the nice scenery with great comfortability. Appreciate the good service.

Our guide (Siew) met us at the airport and was very friendly. He asked for our preference in terms of speaking language, where he’s both fluent in English & Chinese (also Malay & Cantonese). We didn’t have a fixed itinerary as it is a spontaneous trip, but Siew was very accommodative and recommended a lot of good food to us. He also very very knowledgeable in terms of Ipoh’s history, and very very passionate about his job. He brought us to many heritage areas and explained in details the history of each location.

Full-day experience discovering more about Ipoh and its history. Raymond gave a lot of interesting facts and brought us around the different sites in the city.

We booked through Travel with Sun and Ray the Tour for an awesome experience in Ipoh. Our tour guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable and friendly sharing with us local recommendation for food and activities throughout our road trip to Cameron Highlands to see the strawberry farms, tea farms, and lavender fields. The tour experience might have been even better than the sites themselves! We recommend Ray the Tour, Tom our guide, and Travel with Sun’s blog if interest in Ipoh, Penang, and other travel!

Just complete a three-day guided and driven tour with Mr. Raymond.
We spent a day visiting Taiping, which included a boat ride at Port Weld, another day in Cameron Highlands, and a day in Ipoh on the Heritage Trail.
Mr. Raymond was very patient, friendly and accommodating, especially with my kids. He was also a safe driver, and a knowledgeable guide, with great recommendations for great food.
Definitely recommend booking a tour with RayTheTour if you wanna cover Ipoh and its surrounding areas in a comfortable, safe and enjoyable way!

We had a one day tour to the Cameron Highlands during our stay in Ipoh with the guide Mr. Siew.
We could choose all the sights beforehand as Ray offers a fully customizable tour, so we started early with dim-sum at a local restaurant in Ipoh. Mr. Siew kindly offered multiple options to choose from. Then we headed to the Highlands where we visited a vegetable farm, the BOH tea plantations, a strawberry farm and multiple locations of the Cameron Valley tea estate as well the center of Tanah Rata. We had plenty of time at each place and we felt that there was great flexibility in case we wanted to add a stop here or there. Mr. Siew was very attentive and he has great knowledge about the different attractions of the Highlands as well about Ipoh. Also communication to organize the tour was very easy and fluid over Whatsapp.
We very much recommend Ray the Tour and hope to be back to Ipoh and Cameron Highlands one day.

We had a wonderful day trip to the Cameron highlands with Ray. He is very knowledgeable, knows the area well, speaks very good English and has good sense of humor. We can recommend him.

I am a repeated customer with Raythetour. This time i requested for a Mandarin speaking guide as my mum was travelling with me. Mr. Siew was assigned to be my guide.
Siew shares a lot with us on Ipoh back to history.
He is very attentive n pay attention to detail. When the hot is sun, he would bring out the umbrella.
I can also say he is patient. Our stop at Ipoh Meditation lasted for almost one hour half but he waited patiently while talking with the staffs.
When i asked him where can i purchase Chang Jiang Coffee, he said he will bring us to the Chang Jiang coffee place to have snacks n coffee n can purchase the coffee there. To my surprise, the place is so good which is near to the mountain. Not only can i buy freshly packed box coffee there, my mum n me can also tried the kaya butter toast and coffee there. The food is really good.
I requested Siew to drop me at a vegetarian restaurant to takeaway dinner n he obliged.
Overall im very delighted with Siew's service quality.
