What a great spot. Tons of stores selling Bollywood movies; spice shops that have a beautiful aroma, music blaring everywhere, and temples everywhere. It's worth the walk on the main street but do go into the side streets where the food vendors are - so worth it.

Went today to find a good eating experience but were greeted by open sewers, which made me retch, and mediocre food. My partner is Indian so we were looking forward to having an authentic meal but unfortunately were disappointed after walking around for an hour in the sweltering heat. We are from the UK so if you are looking for an... More

I'm going to be slightly controversial here and say that Little India was a disappointment. Firstly it wasn't as busy and bustling as we'd hoped, which I think is because we were there in the afternoon and the main food sellers don't open until early evening, but secondly it wasn't that Indian, to us! Let me elaborate - I live... More

This compact, culturally rich area serves locals as well as visitors. It is much like the commercially diverse market areas in many larger cities in India and also hosts the largest Hindu Temple in Penang. The area is especially lively/crowded during Indian Festivals.

We had heard so much about the place that when we actually arrived there at night for walking tour, we were disappointed. It is a just a representation of small town in South India but much more chaotic and unorganised due to narrow streets and truck loads of tourists. The shops all sell Indian stuff and the night food stalls... More

My wife got her eyebrows done for 5ringit, they did an amazing job. After, go get some curry and Roti with an Indian tea and your day will be satisfied. It's hot as hell so be ready to sweat. Women dress appropriately and don't show leg or shoulder, you WILL get looked up and down by the men and made... More

We followed the map from the cruise terminal to this attraction. Lots of Indian shops and full of Indian culture and music. Recommend a visit just walk around the shops and small the food scents.
