It was a great experience although it was a very hard activity after climbing up from the park entrance to the summit.

This was a superb way too finish off a great morning hiking the summit of Mt Kinabalu , this was my first time doing this type of activity, I skydive , hike and many other activities but this was a different perspective and well worth the time and money, my guide was informative about safety and go with the flow ! So glad I did while I had the opportunity where else can you do on such an impressive mountain.

The ferrata as a very good experience for me and my friends ,we are enjoying it a lot …just that we have 2 group of friends and with two different trainer… my other 2 friends have 100+ activities pictures and me with my other friend have 20 ….. pictures for both of us … kind of disappointed by the huge difference…
And they received their 100 pictures though tele after the hike and we wait for our 20 pictures 8-10 days , though emails …so … may consider on those parts if you want a very memorable trip…

Outstanding adventure on the Lowe's Peak Circuit via ferrata (LPC)! Liau was my guide and he was amazing in every way. He was extremely safe and he knew that I was experienced so he kept the pace moving and catered my experience so that I wasn't waiting behind others. He also took TERRIFIC PHOTOS that he shared with us. That way we had pics of our adventure since taking selfies on an via ferrata is a bit challenging.
The briefing the prior afternoon was VERY helpful and thorough. The only recommendation here is for Mountain Torq to work closely with Amazing Borneo (the tour booking company I used) to increase the suggested snack list for the day of the via ferrata. Because I did both the summit AND the LPC, I wish I would have brought more food. (Maybe that was in the recommended packing list, but I didn't see it.) If you do both the summit and LPC bring plenty of extra energy bars. With a 1:30 AM start--and we were fortunate to make the summit--we started the LPC at 10:30 AM and finished around 2:00 PM. By that time I had consumed 4 protein bars and box of cookies. I could have easily eaten more food.
I am not sure if Pendant Hut is run by Mountain Torq or a separate group. The one suggestion I have for Pendant Hut is to have all the people who are starting at 1:30 AM to climb to the summit AND do the LPC sleeping in the same bunk room. People who are getting up at 1:00 AM are motivated to have their stuff packed early, their gear organized in advance and to get to sleep early.
Unfortunately, I was sleeping in one of the bunk rooms with people who were not starting early and, therefore, were up late talking and packing. As a result, they prevented me from getting any sleep. This was not fun for me.
Other than that, I highly recommend the LPC via ferrata if you are fit and know what you're getting into.

A fantastic experience! The stunning scenery, excellent guide, and the sense of accomplishment at the summit made this hiking trip truly unforgettable. The Low Peak Circuit after reaching the summit was a fantastic addition.
From the hassle-free hotel pick-up to the seamless drop-off, the entire experience was well-organized and effortless. It allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the climb and enjoy every moment.
Highly recommend!

It was amazing! I won't give away too much because you have to go here to experience it yourself. We did the Low's Peak Circuit, and I can highly recommend to choose this one.
During the climb we were very well assisted by our climbing professional. And even outside of climbing, they are well organized and respond professionally, quickly, and friendly. Credits to the team working here.

I went as a solo hiker up Mt Kinabalu and signed up for the Low's Peak Circuit (LPC) Via Ferrata (VF). Lodging was sufficiently comfortable the night before and the briefing was informative. The guides were clear in their explanation on what we should do during the VF itself. The next day, we were assigned to teams for each and our guide James was really animated in giving tips and keeping us all entertained throughout the 4-5 hours of crawling on the mountainside.
Some tips if you plan to do the VF and especially LPC.
1. Use a water bladder. Very convenient especially when you need one hand to hold the rungs
2. Wear smooth clothing. A waterproof rain jacket and overpants is sufficient not only for in case it drizzles during the climb but also it is smooth to glide over the rough granite rockface without tearing.
3. Take a good dump before the climb. Since you will be spending more time up there than those only hiking the peak, the last thing you want happening is needing to poo during the VF.

I am trying to book something for March 01 to march 05 and I have been in contact with one climbing company but however their customer service leaves a lot to desire. ie not answering emails and not returning my call.
Can you offer some names?
Thanks
