I did the lows peak via ferrata circuit which was incredibly challenging particularly after the mornings summit. There were only 3 of us doing it that day and I ended up in a group of 2 with the guide. Our guide was lovely - took loads of photos and coaxed me through some of the more difficult sections. Very rewarding but also terrifying. Definitely one for the thrill seekers. Would not recommend if scared of heights

Many friends look at our photos and think we were crazy to have done this, especially since we did it as a family and our youngest is only 12 year old. However, it will always rate as one of the best things we've done because it truly was an exceptional experience! Special thanks to our trainers Neil and James who were so friendly, kind, patient and encouraging the entire time. The equipment is in tip-top condition, so you feel safe at all times and the trainers take the effort to take really good photos and videos along the way to capture these special moments.

Mountain Torq is very strict on their cut-off times, so please do take special note of their briefing cut off time, as well as the cutoff time for the activity itself. To be fair, I have to say that it is a big, big rush to get to the peak and back to Sayat-sayat by the activity cut-off time. The Summit Attack was already really tough for us and we hardly had the time to enjoy it before rushing down to Sayat-sayat to meet the 7.15am cut-off time. Despite our best efforts, we were actually a few minutes late but Neil was such a champ and allowed us to do it after some serious begging on my part. I do wish that the Summit Attack and the Via Ferrata activity could have been split over 2 separate mornings. I would really have appreciated more time absorbing the beauty at the summit.

The other thing I'd caution anyone considering this is to consider their fitness levels. The Summit Attack and Via Ferrata aren't exactly 'walks in the park' on their own. Combined and arranged back to back, it is quite tiring, and you stlll have to do another 6km hike down to Timpohon Gate. But if you're up for the challenge, then I highly recommend doing this with Mountain Torq.

I went for the shorter, Walk the Torq via ferrata in early July. I was so lucky, since I had a private tour, so my guide, Fakri focused on only me. He was so nice, helpful and took amazing photos during the activity. The weather was so great, sunny, we had a stunning view to the surroundings. There was no safety issue, all worked very well. I can definitely recommend this activity. Honestly after early morning summiting, I was so happy to choose the shorter one, since more than 6 km downhill trek were waiting for me after this 2 hr exceptional experience. :-)

Thanks MT for the amazing experience. Via Ferrata is truly an adventurous way to descent from the Low's Peak Summit to Laban Rata, our trainer James was very patient towards us because we were slow and carefully navigating the steps, he built our confidence towards the harness and safety equipment so that we can conquer our fears of slipping and falling into the valley. :P Highly recommended for those who are thrill seekers and have no fear of heights or maybe want to overcome the fear of heights.

The accommodation at Pendant Hut was also decent and clean, necessary amenities provided. The temperature there was around 6 - 9 degrees celsius, so be sure to get a good cup of hot coffee provided there in the hut.

It’s a lifetime experience but I might consider doing it again! So much great and awesome moments. Amazingly fun! I would like to thank William our guide for his passion and literally patience to ensure we enjoy the whole process. I thought I will struggle but actually I was enjoying my time most of the duration. If you’re not an avid climber, I would advise to take 3 days 2 nights so you can have a breather by the time you finish the via ferrata and check out from Laban rata the next day. Otherwise, all good.
