We left Jesselton point at 2:30pm in a speed boat. It was a quick 7km ride to Sapi island. The beach wasn't that crowded when we got there which I was very surprised by, however a lot of trash around the beach and in the...More

It is a good place to snorkel, but there are many people, that have no idea how to swim, and they stand on the corals, in time this will ruin them, that was a sad thing to see. All in all it is though a...More

Lovely island. Small area to explore, but did get very busy later on in the day. I would personally return to one of the other islands as it did get overcrowded for me.

My family and I bought boat ticket for two islands visiting, Sapi island is the second island after we visited Manukan island. Sapi is with great view but it’s too crowded with all the tours. The canopy and table almost occupied half of the beach.

I love Malaysian islands and beaches but this Pulau has neither. Getting there was a terrifying boat ride faced after a 1.5hrs wait. Once there, there was almost no beach at all to swim on (out of season). There is hardly any sea life and...More

Beautiful island with good snorkelling. The downside is there are some bottles and wood in the sea. This is probably due to tourists - for example, I saw someone casually flick their cigarette butt in water which was clearly flowing out to the sea. Unfortunately,...More

Quick boat trip with good tour group, nice water and zipline was amazing. Lunch is served with your tour group and there are locker's and a small shop, all prices were reasonable.

Personally I didn't see any need to book a snorkelling tour. Just make your way to the jetty, hire your equipment at that point, then buy a return trip to your choice of Sapi or Manukan. Manukan has much prettier coral right... More
