Just a platform at the side of a hill but with good views of the city centre. You can walk up here or take a taxi. Time spent here: 15 minutes to see the scenery, and if you are walking up, extra 5-7 mins. Next to Padang and near to Suria Sabah

The outlook is ok but nothing special due to are the high buildings in the city. U can get there without a car.

Provides for panoramic views over Kota Kinabalu, easily accessible from central Kota Kinabalu. The walk up to Signal Hill up the steps closest to the platform provides the feeling of almost being in the rainforest. And its free! I'd suggest anybody visiting KK with half a day free should visit the viewing platform.

If you've got a couple of hours to kill in KK, take a walk on the heritage trail up to the lookout. Have a cool drink and take of couple of panoramic photos of the town and surrounding islands. Checkout of the historic clock tower on the way.

A short drive up the Signal Hill just to view the entire town and the coastal view. Nothing much to see.

Signal Hill Observatory is the highest point in the city. What you can see are the buildings not afar, and the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park.

This platform is within the town area. One can hike up to this place via the pathway and stairway that's found ner to the old post office building. The view is simply breathtaking. One can just take a cab there which just costs a few ringgit only.

This is just a place above the city. View over the ocean is nothing special, buildings are blocking the view. No need to come over if you don't have spare time. On the other side - if you do, it will cost you only 1/2 up & down... And little exercise is always a good thing :-)
