The outside and inside are very beautiful. If you are a woman, you need to be more covered than other mosques I've been to (to ankles, full sleeves, and head covering) so I had to rent a dress and scarf for RM 5. I met some very lovely girls there who were helping and had a good conversation with them.... More

I only visited the outside but it was magnificent to view. If I had more time, I would have liked to explore inside. Very easy to get to, no need to do in a tour. Just take an uber for 10RM

Its a must if you are in Kota Kinabalu. This mosque is very beautiful for taking photoes, and very peaceful, stately and clean inside. We had rented the clothes to have a view inside, Some mohammedans are doing religious service here, Talked with a nice old Mohammedan and take some photoes here, it's also very beautiful in the night with different color of lights.

Its a must if you are in Kota Kinabalu. Especially the Mosque was built on the sea which is the most attractive part of the visit.

It's quite far out of the way, although it looks quite nice. The water surrounding the building is quite dirty however. Make sure you get there for visiting hours as it is not open all day (just like most mosques).

It's huge. The day we visited it was raining outside. I forgot the shop name but they furnished Islamic dress on rent along with umbrella free of cost. For the dress hired it was very minimum charges. The mosque is big inside and iconic in architecture. Up to a certain part one can access for taking pictures. Rest of the... More
