Tabin is probably the best place for wildlife spotting in Sabah! We have been multiple times now and had a fantastic trip every time! The drive to the resort is along a bumpy, unpaved road,but we were prepared for this, so it didn't bither us....More

We stayed in one of the small riverside lodges, which are really well done out and chic places to stay. Tabin was great for wildlife, we saw Gibbons, monkeys, Civets, Flying Squirrels, Otters and lots of birds. No orangutans, we spotted those at Danum Valley...More

If you want to guarantee seeing them the only place is at one of the rescue centres. Eg. We were lucky and saw them in the wild at Tabin and Danum valley. We saw recent nest at our Homestay in Abai on the Kinabatanga river... More
