We booked a half day tour and were lucky enough to have seen 8 of the 21 Orangutang that are there. Our guide kindly changed our tour and brought it forward for us. He was very knowledgeable about the area and shared lots of information...More

Title says enough. Tip go by bus on the morning show at 9:00, because the last bus leaves too early to see the whole afternoon feeding process.

I could not miss the chance to see orangutans in a semi wild environment and managed to see three. The ranger gives them food to encourage their visit so they are trained in a way.

Pretty amazing sight. It is about 30 mins from the city center, then maybe a 5 minute walk. Definitely worth a visit.

How much is it by taxi from Kuching centre to the Semenggoh reserve? Is it worth getting a tour guide at Semenggoh?

I couldn't tell you the price of a taxi but the reserve is small (as there is really only one place you can go to see the Orangutans) and a guide is definitely not needed.
hi, is there any other attractions near this park?
