I went during the rainy season and although we had heavy rain for over an hour during the walk the jungle showed its charm. We did the white and blue trail upto the waterfall and - due to teh rainy season the waterfall was at least twice as large and a shower was the best thing after a hilly jungle... More

We stayed here two nights as a family in the shared house - no others were staying there so we had the place to ourselves which was great! You need to take in your own food and I would recommend taking a taxi there and taking their number to call them when you want to return, You also need to... More

Visited the Kubah National Park in the hope of a manageable trek with some nice views but ended up being a nightmare. As im fully aware Borneo is full of challenging treks not suitable for elderly, I made sure to ask at the ticket office "is it managable for me, will there be ropes or rails to assist?" "Yes, simple... More

We did the "walk" to the waterfall, which started as an uphill climb before getting to the forest path. Making it to the waterfall was worth the walk and it was a refreshing swim, but another uphill walk back means you'll be hot & sweaty again before you get back to your vehicle!

This trekking was kind of a struggle (the trekking to the reach a waterfall), maybe also because of the haze that was kind of intense during that period, but still.. there is a lot of ups and downs. After a while you reach the waterfall which is really lovely and it's really nice to be able to get into the... More

Tried the waterfall walk. Steep, slippery, hard going in the humidity, and the waterfall was not up to much when we got there. luckily no leeches that day, but very little wild-life either
