We enjoyed our longhouse experiences with Edward and his family very much. The jungle trek was exciting though exhausting for both of us. All these are paid off when we saw the waterfall and had a delicious traditional lunch by the waterfall. Edward was an excellent host. When we returned to the longhouse after our trek, he patiently brought us... More

Nice stay. Friendly guides. Good variety of activities and learned a lot about the people. Would not advise it for young kids or elderly as the river raft ride and jungle trek are not easy.

We enjoyed the longhouse experience very much. Very friendly people, everything is nicely organized. We did the 4D/3N package, started off with the Hot Springs, then Bamboo Rafting, then the Waterfalls. It was the perfect order as each of the excursion exceeded the previous one. The waterfall is great! We arranged for a car to take us half way, so... More

We greatly enjoyed our two night stay with Edward and his family. This is a unique and memorable experience. The longhouse community is a close unit and being there just before Christmas was special. The children visited each home to sing carols and of course load up their bags with lollies and goodies. We visited the hot springs and had... More

The overall experience was very nice. We absolutely loved the trip in the jungle, which was the most challenging jungle trek of our vacation (roads in national parks are better kept...). The waterfall was really nice! The people were very friendly and eager to share their culture.

We stayed as well one night. But all was included. Trekking, local food, interesting evening with a little bit history, trying on the traditional costume. I would recommend a staying in a long house always, as a possibility to get closer to locals. Annah Rais offers as well some nowadays rare treasure, being away from crowds. Nevertheles the place is... More

We only stayed one night (we would have stayed longer but we were leaving Kuching the next day) but it was a highlight of our trip. We trekked through jungle to a lovely waterfall, we had our lunch cooked in a bamboo shoot which was an education in itself and most importantly of all, we learned so much about the... More

I live there since I was born until age 8. I don't know what is the best or good about Annah Rais...I only can say I'm proud coz that's my village. At least I still have a village. :)

My partner and I stayed at the Annah Rais Longhouse for 3 days and 2 nights. We had an amazing time and the hospitality was second to none. It was wonderful to share a small part of the local Bidayuh people's lives an see how the tribes live today. The adventures during the day were fun (but exhausting) and allowed... More
