I enjoyed myself so much in the medina, it is not crowded and the locals are very nice and relaxed. Beautiful views. Great art and woodwork. The fish is amazing.

Must see location in Essaouira. Great fish marker, old town and shops. People are very nice and many intersting things to see.

Good to escape from noise , pollution of the big cities There , all buildings are blue and white , the medina is charming with her little streets , colourful shops etc Please take your time there and enjoy :-)

The merchants in the medina of Essaouria are so much more laid back than other areas. We were in Morocco for two weeks and this was hands down the best place to shop! Even over Marrakech! At one point we ran out of cash and the bank machine wouldn't dispense more until the next day, as there is a limit... More
