Complete opposite of the Medina in Marrakesh, people here are more relaxed and are not pushing their wares in your face. Do not miss the thuya wood artisans, beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices. A great place for an afternoon walk.

Great to visit the old Medina with the bustle of traders, welcoming to purchase their ware but not as manic and congested as main towns. A beautiful coastal city

I really enjoyed wandering around this Medina. After being in Marrakech, this one was almost laid back. Plenty of streets to explore at your own pace, without too much hassle.

The streets are much wider and we were not hassled once by the shop keepers. The architecture is quite different and I almost felt like I was in Greece or... More

Unless you do kite surfing, and you come in the right time for that, the whole town is boring, ugly and dirty. There is not much to see nor to do. the beach is in terrible quality, the water is dirty. However we stayed in a nice riad, and just chilling there.

This place was awesome! I took a day trip from Marrakech, which was well needed and I fell in love. The hassle is far less than Marrakech and the prices for items purchased were a lot cheaper as well. I bought a leather wallet for 2 USD. The people here were very personable and friendly. To be honest, I know... More
