I'm not a very fit guy, and I managed this walk just fine (although with quite a lot of sweating). It gets very steep at times, and would be slippery in the wet, so wear closed toes shoes. It is also quite exposed, so make sure to take a hat and sunscreen. Make sure to take some water too. We... More

We did not trek to this Lookout… we took part of a 2 Hour Island Bus Tour (8 stops $20.00AUD). Had we walked, I’m sure it would have straightened out our sea legs? A pleasant short first stop overlooking the surrounds and vegetation of the Bay area and Cruise ship anchored in the bay.

This climb has already been well documented in your reviews. We are in our mid 70s and we did this last week so it was very hot. My husband and I were not prepared ,we did not take any water but had joggers on, thank godness. Yes, it is a great experience and we will be better prepared next time.

We climbed Pic N'Ga, 4 km round trip, great views of the boat and surrounding reefs and islands, but very rocky and slippery so wear runners. Kids walked it no problem. We could've climbed another 20 metres for an even better view so look around at the top for the track. It's just a few hundred metres up the main... More

A bit of a hard slog, especially if the weather is hot, but can be done by a family that includes a whining 11 year old daughter if you carry her backpack and threaten to leave her to walk back to the ship by herself ... it is all worth it when you get to the top though!!! I strongly... More

Everybody should come up here. You have an amazing view over the hole Island. Its about an hour walk each way but well worth it. You don't need to be an experienced walker but you should wear some good shoes, Flip Flops are not advisable. It starts with a walk thru the the woods, which is beautiful. Come here when... More

I took the long way around on the road to get to the start of the walk.I found everyones' directions confusing and also got pointed along the wrong road by the islanders.I dont think they go there. Make your way out onto the 2nd road you come to from the pier, not the one by the hotel, and go left after you... More

We decided to do the ´pic N'ga on the last day of our stay in Isle of Pines. Went early morning at 7:30am, we were the only one there. Very peaceful and the view is beautiful. I didn't expect it to be that challenging actually. Make sure to wear good shoes and bring water.

Isle of Pines is one of the most beautiful islands I've ever seen. Kanumera beach and Kuto Bay just off the tender is magical but I needed a walk first. Easy to find the well marked trail head on the main road RM 3 that runs between the two beach roads leaving the shore. Trail climbs about 800 feet to... More
