This is a gorgeous little island that we stopped at on our boat tour. The snorkeling was pretty good, and the views were down right amazing. Definitely worth making a trip to see it.

I thought this only happened on national geographic. We witnessed hundreds of baby sea turtles heading into the ocean for the first time.

We went here by boat, first saw the dolphins in dolphin bay, than went to the paradise. Walk around the whole island, sometimes by the sea with the most beautifil colours. Take your photocamara (telephone)...and sunscrean. The most beautiful place of Panama!!

It is definitely worthwhile to visit Zapatilla! It is pure and it is great to explore the little island.. When I was there it was raining all the time which was a pity.

I have been to Bocas on several vacations, and the Zapatilla Islands are a must. There are two islands, Zapatilla 1 and Zapatilla 2...go figure! We have always had our guiedes suggest Zapatill 1 for some reason. Never a disappointment though! If you plan to...More

The island of Zapatillas is stunning. Great place to walk, paddle and enjoy the beach. Visibility for snorkeling when I visited in July 2017 was about three metres, and the current was dangerously strong.

Really beautiful place, a must see if you´re in Bocas! We did a tour, visited the coral reefs, dolphin bay, sloth island and Zapatilla. Amazing place, but you have to bring your own beverages!

Very beautiful island. You can only visit during the day and you're not allowed to camp here, but it is one of the things that makes it so beautiful and untouched! Pristine blue waters and white sand beaches. Drop dead gorgeous!

We're actually standing in LAX having just flowing in from SJO after 8 days in Bocas, and BDT had so much more to do than the Caribbean side of CR/Puerto Viejo. But from PV to BDT is around 4.5 hours door to door, border... More
