The equipment rented to us by Scuba Panama wasn't safe. The depth meters didn't work, and my backup regulator had a tear in it. When I mentioned this to the dive master, he dismissed it and said to use the primary regulator. I don't know why I still dove, but thankfully I didn't need the backup regulator. I definitely needed... More

Alexai and Veruska are amazing - they are on top of communication and all your requirements. The dive spots in Portobelo didn't have great visibility. But I'd go diving with Scuba Panama again, albeit to a different spot.

I am a Stress & Rescue certified diver with 300+ dives all over the world. We booked the Two Oceans in One Day tour for myself and my adult son and daughter. 1) No radio on the boat 2) No oxygen on the boat 3) Boat captain didn't speak English 4) Boat captain was unfamiliar with the dive site: dropped... Christian, our dive guide, was very knowledgeable and took us on two great dives. The water was very clear and flat for the early morning dive. There was plenty of fish - lobster, puffer fish, shrimp, parrot fish, clown fish, sea worms. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to dive the plane wreck. :-(

Great service but underwhelming diving experience. Dive operation and dive master did their best but weather conditions led to marginal diving. Recent rains caused visibility issues and unfavorable currents at dive sites.

I had not heard of Panama diving and now I think I know why. Signing up was easy and flexible but the admin people are not terribly helpful or knowledgable. The dive masters were adequate but uninterested in guiding. Mostly it seemed they were there to hunt for lion fish. Which - don't get me wrong - is super important... More

Me and my boyfriend wanted to dive, hadn't really heard of diving in Panama, but found this outfit. They picked us up at hotel in Panama City, and we enjoyed great country side views. Rafael was our dive master and driver and was friendly, and knowledge, and flexible to our schedule. Went to two separate dive sites, and the reef... More

Did 2 dives with Scuba Panama, to two quite good dive sites. My biggest concern was to total lack of English speaking staff. If you speak Spanish or have Spanish speakers with you who can translate you will be fine, but just something to be aware of. I felt the dive instructions and guidance could be improved, but the rental... More

My wife and I went to Panama in order to dive two oceans in one day. We looked at a few dive shops - it was very expensive but seemed to be about the same everywhere - and settled on Scuba Panama because they seemed the most professional. We weren't disappointed. We brought our own masks, regulators, and computers but... More
