Yes, there were the big eels and turtles, but no birds, no bats, no butterflies. You have to bring fish for feeding the eels and banas for feeding the turtles with you.

Beautiful cold water springs. Turtles were active but the eels that the guide mentioned must have been napping and even food didn't bring them out for a visit. Interesting location with great flora in the area.

The cold sulfur springs make for fairly interesting viewing. The caretakers are pleasant. They'll show you where the turtles and fish live. The clear water and caves make for an attractive setting. Nice to visit if you're in the area, but not worth going out...More

I have visited the place a couple of times over years. Got the impression the place is getting run down... And besides feeding a few tourtles there is no much to do :(
