Our lodge (Refugio) was a 2 1/2 hour boat ride down the Tambopata river. We had several hikes w/guide through the Amazon Rain forest over 3 days. Each was unique for the types of wildlife we saw. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was tremendous about pointing...More

We spent 4 days in the peruvian rain forest and with the help of our guide we were able to see quite a few different animals and plants. The rainforest is amazing!

Great experience of many jungle creatures. The walk is a bit long but it is somewhat isolated and no vehicles are permitted into the park.

Absolutely fantastic! Unbelievable going up the Amazon for three hours and arriving at the lodge after dark and not believing such a wonderful site. Our guide for three days was Paul and was great. I'm going to take my grandsons there next year.

You need to attention to rainy season versus wet season, All tour operators provide wellington boots but slugging through knee deep boots can be tiresome.

More than amazing and more than my expectations of how much wildlife would be seen, I couldnt have imagined a better experience.

As we were in a rain forest there was mud everywhere. Boots were supplied, which was great as you will need them. Climbed the canopy tower to see the top of the jungle as well as the bottom!!

Lovely scenes. Plenty of fauna and flora. Muddy walk made our exploration a bit difficult. Good guide - knowledgable in all aspects of the jungle and good English

if you are talking about our stay at the all inclusive lodge, we were there for 3 nites and I do NOT remember the cost. It was part of a 2 wks. trip to Peru that Kuoda put together for us.
