The stairs are about 10 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas, and then you climb 500 meters (>1500 ft) of stairs to the large condor statue... Definitely not something to do if you are suffering from altitude sickness, but the views are incredible (there...More

The walk up the stairs was quite a hike up. But the views are amazing and we took our time. We went with our guide since he said he wasn't sure if was safe for us to walk up there by ourselves.

You will need to sweat a lot in order to reach the Condor, is excellent if you visit them in the morning. I suggest you to leave from your hotel at 5am in order to avoid the sun.

We walked from our hotel and up all the steps. Amazing view of the city and lake Titicaca. Totally safe to be there during the day.

Lots of stairs to go up but pretty complete view of the city. We were the only ones there which was pretty cool.
