The Mansion, built in 1908, used to be the summer residence of the American Governors-General. Today it is the summer palace of the President of the Philippines. It is a private residence, which means that it is not open to the public, who have to...More

It was just fine. Good thing that the weather was perfect otherwise with all the people around, it would have been hell.

It's good to see the Malacañang in Baguio and buy a souveneir like the Presidential keychain or a Presidential car sticker for a reasonable price.

The place is nice for photo op. There are a lot of people when we visited but the place can accommodate large groups. However there are a lot of vendors too. We bought Sagada Oranges and Grapes. The vendor said that the grapes is seedless...More

No proper car park. The cars ruined the scenery when you're taking a picture. Lots of people too, you can't take a proper picture of the mansion.

Once in Baguio, try to stop by and take a picture infront of this Mansion, once housed by presidents. Nothing special about this Mansion because honestly you cant even go inside and have a peek, unlike in Ilocos, the old Mansion by former President Marcos....More

Another quick snapshot and go moment in Baguio. Just know the historical value of the place will give relevance to the place. Unlike in Ilocos, visitors can actually go inside of the late President's house. So I guess there's something really special about this place...More

We passed this mansion several times and we didn't bother to go down. I have visited hundreds of monuments and manors etc and this is not special at all. Don't bother and don't waste your time UNLESS you have never seen a big house.

From Botanical garden, The Mansion is accessible through Wright Park (a couple of blocks away, definitely walking distance). From the Mansion, there are jeeps plying the Mines View route, you just have to hop on one. :) Not... More
