This place oozes with a stage presence hardly found in small towns like Auburn. It is a struggling non-profit that offers better than average stage performances of all types from music to plays to comedy.

I have seen movies, lectures, musicals, bands and plays here. Bathrooms are clean. Parking garage 15' from the building. They serve beer, wine, soda, water popcorn and snacks. Check it out.

The theater was small, about 70 seats. The seats were comfortable and well sighted. The viewing screen was large and easily watchable, along with the sound quality. The price of the tickets and especially the bag of popcorn, only $1, was well worth the price....More

While the events are varied and interesting the bar selection is horrid. We were served small(6oz) plastic glasses of very cheap grade bar wine. For the price of $7.00 per glass one would think they could sell a little higher quality beverage.

Auburn Public Theater is the best place in Auburn for entertainment! Our favorite thing to see at the theater are the comedians. They always bring in wonderful talent. Can't wait to try out the cinema-all new seating and many more showings.

The theater is small so I would suggest sitting in the middle area . About the 6 or 7 row area . You can see everything even if you sit toward the back. Hope this helps
