What a lovely little village Salcedo Village is. In between the chaos of P Burgos and downtown/corporate Makati, SV is brought to life with this weekend market around the beautifully kept park. The local community is brought together for this weekly tradition, and the fresh fruit & veg on display only adds to the experience. Bravo, SV!

This market is only open on Saturdays, 7AM-2PM. Make sure you visit this market with a team—because you need someone to look for a table.
Bring an umbrella and keep lose attire because it will be hot and humid. Bring your own water too.
Price will be a bit steeper considering some suppliers come from different parts of the world or country.
Bring your own reusable bag. If you forgot, they sell reusable bags at Php 100/pc.

If you need an injection of fresh food, farmers market and variety, this is the place to go. There is a wide selection of cooked ready to eat food as well as fresh fruit, vege, fish and the like. You can buy artisan breads that are harder to find in the Philippines as well as delicious preserves, biscuits and some home remedies to stop pesky mozzies. My favourite seller is Madge, hunt her stall down for perfect crumpets, melting moments and too many other NZ and OZ favourites.

This is a community market that only opens on a Saturday. They have another one in Legaspi st. Tables to dine are disallowed, due to the prevailing health protocols. So only option was for a take away. Food finds are really nice, especially the fruits and novelty produce. But be wary of the time schedule. They close by 2 pm. At 1 pm many of them are starting to pack up, since they already ran out of something to sell. People trickled in as early as it opens at around 9 am.

Amazing market with everything from produce, fresh seafood, local delicacies cooked before your eyes.

You need to come hungry because of the food !!!. Cute local market not so big which is great. You get to see and eat a variety of food, not just Filipino food. Support local produce and merchants as well. Just an overall great experience

Wow! 15 years! In the service of the community. Kudos to our Barangay Bel-Air team for coming up with the idea of a community market opening an opportunity to our budding entrepreneurs and despite the initial and continuing challenges has sustained what this Market has become through the years. We at times spend our Saturday lunches here with the family, buy our household needs for the week and great stuff which only here you can find and sometimes meet some lost friends and an opportunity to re-connect.
