gorgeous old church

When in the neighborhood, do stop and visit this lovely old church. Especially when there is no service, explore and enjoy.

The church has been a favorite site for movies because of its very old character. Uniquely, it is very accessible. It's a place where you can find solace in the middle of the busy Makati

Been to this church only once with family. I find the place really peaceful and private. Not too big and not too small.

This is NOT a Basilica in Rome filled with Bernini sculptures BUT this is a treasure! To think it began its history in 1601! The thick volcanic stone used to build it has gotten dark with centuries but this church is special in its antiquity and quiet grace. The stories behind Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Philippines are worth... More

Never dismiss the simple appearance of this house of God, which has stood on this site since 1601 - originally the Convent of Our Lady of Grace in the Hills. Originally it was on the top of a hill accessed by 200 steps - today you can park in its car park!! In 1603 the name was changed to Our... More

A hidden gem in the city. The place is very nice for a wedding venue - old and well preserved, quite and private type. Venue is not too big but not small. Allowed more time to do the set-up and preparation for the wedding and has huge parking space.

Guadalupe is a church named from a Spanish title of the Virgin Mary, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, meaning "Our Lady of Guadalupe". Guadalupe is a Spanish place name, the site of a famous convent, which means "river of the wolf" in Arabic.

The church of Guadalupe really forms a quick place in the less developed area's of Manila. The nice architecture, friendly people and the nice inside makes it a nice place to go to. It's a little hard to find, so make sure you have some sort of map with you
