This is the oldest privately-owned, publicly accessible, collection in Manila. The institute is currently running an exhibition titled: two halves of a face. There are some interesting modern pieces, effectively contrasted with more seasoned artists. The Lopez Memorial museum is the oldest but been kept museum as privately managed.Place is nice and just a few walk to hotel and malls too.The nearest were SM Megamall and St.Francis.Worth to visit.

I saw Sanso's early paintings here! It is very different from his recent paintings! He has evolved! This Spanish guy loved the Philippines so much. The Lopez Memorial Museum is the oldest privately owned and managed museum and library specializing in Philippine material -t is not large, but the quality is high. This place is worth a visit for History lovers. The local & international artists have developed a wide variety of items with unique design & concept. The staff is also very friendly

Historically interesting, impressive art collection & some seriously old books from 16th century. Friendly staff who take you on a tour, cheap to get in, well worth a look for those who like history & art.

Very unique design and concept made by local & international national artists. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very affordable entrance rate and a very detailed guided tour is provided by their friendly tour guide.

This is good place for a an afternoon visit. It has a wide collection of modern art works and many artefact from recent past. The library has good collection of archival materials.
