After visiting the Taoist Temple in the Beverly Hills district, I wasn't too impressed with this temple as a whole. The temple itself is not that big and for me it needs quite a bit of attention especially to the pavement where the tiles were coming unstuck. There isn't much of a view from the top apart from city apartment blocks and around the back and the small village by the small river bank. There was no entrance fee when we visited the temple. I would still recommend a visit here.

Located about 483 feet from my hotel, it appears to be unknown to tourists and locals alike.

It occupies its entire lot so it is bigger than several temples I had visited in Thailand and Indonesia.

Taking pictures is allowed except inside the temple itself. Entry is FREE here.

Surroundings: Stalls of vendors just outside the walls, Street Food vendors, parking for motor cycles.

We arrived with a guide that told us a bit of the story behind it, it’s quick to see it and it was quite pleasant, NO PICTURES of the saints.
Love and respect the Chinese culture.
Nice to see a different culture within a country mostly catholic.

There is nothing special to this temple. If you are staying in the outskirt of Cebu you can definitely visit it but if you live in Cebu City Center or Mactan I would not recommend spending tile and effort to see the temple

This is a Taoist Temple in the city proper. It is only a few short blocks from the Cebu Provincial Capitol. Very accessible but relatively unknown as it is located in an "isolated" area despite only a few short blocks from the jeepneys route.
We were surprised to see the temple as it was totally unexpected to find one in that area. I am always on the look out for places to see/go.
For decades I have been regularly going to the very popular Taoist Temple up in the Beverly Hills. It is very out of the way and difficult to access if you don't have your own transportation but is very popular and is a Cebu City icon because of the beautiful structures and the astounding view.
This temple is also open to the public. It has beautiful structures though not that well maintained. As usual there are different levels of the structure up on the hill.
The guard was very accommodating and helpful.
