You get two (2) sky adventures, the 2-minute side coaster and the 10-15 minute skywalk WHICH INCLUDES a buffet meal at the crown regency ALL for 750 per person (you can also opt for the package without the buffet or opt for only one ride.NOTE: better get the 750 package, it's worth it.)

The side coaster was more heart falling, stomach churning. A two-seater inclined downwards, felt like you are about to fall. My toes were grabbing my havaianas slippers because I though they were going to fall (NOTE: which I think is possible.). You get to view Cebu and some far off islands which was a beauty. I don't suggest this for people who tend to cry during carnival rides.

Next, the tour guided skywalk. It's not "that" scary. For the faint-hearted, maybe. It was fun. You NEED to BRING a PAIR OF SOCKS or you can just buy a pair at crown regency, for 20 pesos. The sneakers/shoes are provided for, free of charge.

IMPORTANT TIP: YOU CANNOT take pictures yourselves so ask the CAMERAMAN NICELY to take A LOOOOOOOTTTT of pictures. They usually just get 6 for the side coaster and 10 for skywalk, which is a few, trust me, in both akyadventures because the SOFTCOPY is worth 550pesos PER skyadventure or around 230pesos per hard copy picture. Just get the soft copy and print the whole thing yourself.

Your Cebu trip would not be complete without this experience.

for 900peso around £13 or $18 you get to visit the top of the highest tower block in the Philippines. At the top there is a ride, in which you are tipped over the edge of the building and taken around the edge, pretty tame when compared to European or US thrill rides but for for thrills in Cebu it is great.
After the ride there is a sky walk, they dress you in orange jump suits and hook you to a safety cable before leading you on a walk around the edge of the building, again pretty tame unless you have a fear of heights.
After this you can experience a 4D movie in which you watch a computer generated movie whilst being blasted with air and squirted with water. Excellent fun but only lasts 15 minutes.
The day is rounded off with a buffett meal on the 37th floor, this is excellent value perhaps the best buffett meal I have had in the Philippines.

The only down side to a day at the sky adventure attraction is that they wont allow you to take your own cameras on either the ride or the walk, this is so that they can sell you photographs taken by their photographers at 230 peso each !!

i've been there last week. Sky WALK is awesome! :)) the tower's elevator is made up of glass, enabling us to see the the city became smaller and smaller as we go up. When we got to 19th floor, we saw a tiger, a lion, two birds and a reticulated python. We choose to have a photo with a bengal tiger. It cost P125 good for 4 persons. The skywalk costs P450 for students, got a P100 discount, just bring valid I.D.. They will charge you P100 for the locker for your things to be kept, and the good news is, they will refund it once you survived the skywalk. Unfortunately, I forgot to get my refund. Skywalk + edge coaster for students is only P750 as of Nov.23,2012.
When you are done with the skywalk, they'll give u a certificate that U survived, so as with other rides. (Be in shoes, and bring socks) So you won't have to buy one.. Cameras are not lowed. They have official photographers. Pictures will be flashed on the monitor, you'll chose what to be printed. P230 per printed picture. :)

My friends were here in Cebu to try the Sky Adventure Challenge. It is obvious that the main attraction for the city is this popular skyrise activities of Crown Regency Hotel. I called them to check if we need a reservation since it was May 14, a Saturday. I was greeted by a friendly voice on the phone who advised me that they have a lot of people on weekends but they can always accommodate, she even explained the rates and invited us for the international buffet which is tied up with a package. Anyway, we decided to eat in other resto instead.

(NUMBER 1 - PARKING) We drove there and we were awed by the auto-card-swiping-parking entrance. But that's the only good thing there because everything became worse after. We were advised by the security guard that the first level parking is full and advised us to park at the third level and so we did. the ramp was very steep and narrow! the car we brought was not able to climb up at first try. the guard assisted us and we asked if its "one-way" because were worried that another car might be going down and may cause an accident. the guard confirmed its one way. on the drive up, we noticed 2 arrows painted on the wall - one going up (with ENTRANCE written on top of it) another arrow going down (with EXIT written on it). that is totally unsafe! we dont even think two cars will fit the narrow ramp. Maybe they're thinking of motorcycles when they made it! They did not even have traffic lights or people to help warm cars!

(NUMBER 2 - RIDICULOUS PRICING FOR PICTURES) We went up to the cashier and ask about the packages. It was my second time to do it because i was able to experience skywalk and edgecoaster some 2years ago with my friends from davao city. to our surprise, we were informed that the PHOTOS COST 240 PER PICTURE!!!! before, you have an option to put all your pictures in a CD for some 600 pesos you have to pay. 600 pesos is a ridiculous price for your photos but we were willing to pay still just to get a souvenir of the experience. but 240 a photo is insane! that's a total rip off! the woman there told us that there has been several complaints from customers about the CD not being read by their computers or the pictures not burned properly which resulted to returns, thats why they dont sell out cds. but to replace it with a 240 peso price per picture is highway robbery! we wanted to just leave and do something else, but we decided to just do it since were there already. TAKE NOTE: this picture pricing is not in the website (thats why its a rip off) so make sure that if you go there, bring extra money other than your 1000 pesos or you can have the experience in your memory with nothing to show to your friends that you did actually go there.

(NUMBER 3 - CASHIERS WHO MIGHT BE SO TIRED TO PAY ATTENTION) we decided not to do the edgecoaster and rather opt for the skywalk and the towerzip. we asked the cashier if we can have the two activites for the price of package 2 which is 750. she attentively said yes and processed our payment, and gave us the bag tag as a souvenir. when we got up to the tower zip counter, we were told that we cannot do it because its not included in the package. the package we paid for is for the skywalk and edgecoaster. we were very specific we dont want the edgecoaster! now, the woman there told us to go downstairs and process an additional fee of 250 to be able to do the tower zip. what a suggestion! was it our fault that someone didnt do their job and now we pay for it? and she even asked us to settle it downstairs ourselves! after a while of discussion, that woman decided to go downstairs and talk to the cashier, which she should have done the first place. she came back and told us that they're giving us a discount (pay 150 instead of 200) or get a refund. we gave in and gave here the money, she came back and joyously announced that they are charging us 100 instead of 150. are we happy? no! who would? we still paid for their staff's incompetence.

(NUMBER 4 - THEY DONT ISSUE A RECEIPT UNLESS YOU ASK FOR IT) we didn't bring socks so we were told to buy at the counter. after paying the exact amount, i waited for my receipt but the cashier did something else and didn't hand me my receipt. i asked her if they issue receipts and this is her answer (in Bisaya, im translating in English), "I can print if you want a copy." I was surprised with the answer! dont you need to always log purchases in the POS? I guess you're violating BIR rules!

(NUMBER 5 - RUDE PHOTOGRAPHERS/STAFF) we decided to do the skywalk first. i compared it 2 years ago when i first tried it, we were assisted every step of the way, there was an orientation while we are prepped up with the orange gear and harness. this time, we were just asked for our shoe size and they just throw the sneakers at your feet! the guy who attaches those safety links approached us and without a word, just motioned us to lift our arms so he can put that thing around us. we sat down, waited for our turn to experience the skywalk, and the woman photographer came in, sat sloppily on the chair beside us and was talking (or rather shouting, her voice was too loud to be considered as talking) to thing other staff in Bisaya (i only heard her say "sagpa, ganahan ka? buang man tingali ka?!" = which means in English = "do you want me to slap you? are you crazy?") and she laughed boisterously. she then asked us to pose beside the Skywalk logo, took 2 pictures and asked another group of Koreans to have their pictures taken. To our surprise, she took a lot of pictures of the group and was more friendly suggesting some poses to them. Is that how you treat your fellow Filipinos?

(NUMBER 6 - SKYWALK GUIDE WHO WILL SCARE THE [--] OUT OF YOU) we walked out to the skywalk ramp, of course, im trying to conquer my fear of heights and i think im doing really good progress as well as some of the guys in our group. our guide, kiddingly acted as if he was about to slip on the edge. its not funny! they have consider that its going to make us more scared of the experience rather than enjoy it. we reached that area where the famous "one leg raise" shot is taken. of course if scared to walk down the edge and do it, when i was there being assisted by the guide, he jokingly again stomped his foot on the floor which made me scream so hard! he laughed at my face to see how scared i was. helpless, i didn't slap him or made an argument. i told myself, im gonna write you a review and send it to your manager. after the walk, we never heard anyone of them say "thank you" or even asked us how was the experience. as long as you're done paying and they walked the same boring walk they do everyday, they don't care.

(NUMBER 7 - STAFF THAT SMELLS OF SWEAT AND BODY ODOR) we then walked to the tower zip to finish the whole package. we were asked to wear the orange suit. this time, we need to walk to the next floor for the zipline, no one assisted us where to go. they just told us to go upstairs, we did find our way anyhow. so we were there and the guys who are putting the safety gears smell sweaty and stinking of body odor, it was a hot night, its summer however, its not an excuse to stink!

(NUMBER 8 - STAFF AT THE COUNTER WHO DOESNT KNOW HOW TO SMILE and AS EQUALLY RUDE AS EVERYBODY ELSE) now its time to be robbed by the souvenir pictures! the woman at the counter explained to us the photo package in a plain voice with an annoyed look on her face. We talked among ourselves on what package to get, she interrupted by asking ("Unsa man mam, mokuha mo o dili?" = "So whats your decision, are you getting it or not?"). whats the rush? do you need to pee?

the Sky Adventure activities are great concept, its one thing that Cebu can be proud of really. But with the staff that they put there, it can destroy how visitors perceive Cebu and the Cebuanos. To the management of Crown Regency, you may invest in Customer Service Training, your badly needs it.

We payed 1k for useless pictures, unacceptable service and rude staff.

The photographer named 'Janet' doesn't know the meaning of good customer service. She didn't know how to smile and offer us comfort and excellent service. While the photographer (male, thin-bodied) and staff of the Edge Coaster didn't inform us that we will be photographed at certain points. This led to poor quality of photographs. Poor photographs (25 pcs) for 1k.

I don't recommend this place for tourists who are looking for good quality of service.

I'm highly disappointed. 👎👎👎👎

The first time i visited this place was when I was on a college tour 6 years ago. My parents paid for everything and I remembered having fun and actually liking it. But for my second visit just months ago, I realized that this "adventure" isn't too much fun after all probably because 1.) I spent my actual money for it and now i realized it's overpriced and 2.) I had been to a lot of places and had tried more extreme stuff already. This one is just basic and overhyped.

The ride costs Php 550 per person per attraction, meaning Php 550 for the skywalk, Php 550 for the edge coaster, Php 550 for the zipline and so on and so fort. I find this pricey (though some may not) because of the quality of the experience you get from the rides. You can get more adrenaline rush from rides in an amusement park which will only cost you Php 500 or less for a ride all you can ticket. Rides in here are lame and really short. One moment you're excited and the next thing you know it's over, done! Goodbye Php 550! And while we are at the subject, the pictures are really overpriced too. You will not be allowed to bring your own camera not even a GoPro and they're very strict about this (which is sad because most of the attractions these days allows you to do so. They understand that getting a perfectly timed, perfectly positioned picture adds up to the experience. It does right?) so that you'll be forced to avail their pictures and you have no choice to do so because what's the point of going through this stuff if you won't have souvenirs that will remind you of it.

Adding to the disappointing experience was the unfriendly receptionists; the one assigned at the skywalk most especially. She is very stiff, doesn't greet and doesn't smile. She will explain to you all the rides and regulations in an almost robotic-too scripted manner without even looking at you and that's it.

Ive been seeing a lot of posts from my facebook friends that they tried Skywalk at Crown Regency in Cebu. Last March, after going to Oslob, we stayed in Cebu City to try Skywalk.

Skywalk has activities such as
Edge Coaster - u ride at the edge of the building and gives u the city view, with a twist of making u think ud fell.
Skywalk - strap on harness and u walk at the edge of the building (just like in tiananmen mountain in China)
Zipline - from one building to the other and its super short.

Those 3 above costs 600php each activity per head. Luckily, we got a promo price of 1000php for all 3 else id feel devastated.

If uve been to other theme parks and tried different adrenaline-rush activities (ie roller coasters, bungee, zipline) and u dont have fear of heights, then THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Honestly, We got bored doing the activities because we didnt feel any bit of fear.

Staff: Kudos to all the staff for their perkiness and good customer service skills.

TIPS:
1. Wear shoes/sandals that has laces/straps else theyll ask u to borrow their shoes for free but u need to buy socks from them for 10php.

2. Rental lockers are available for 100 or 200php and are refundable.

3. Go on days that has less guests (weekdays) of if weekends make sure not to rush and have plenty of time. U can be there around 3-4 hours depending on the wait time.

4. Best view of city during Sunset 5pm - 6pm and night time.

5. Check their website for hours of operation.

6. Cellphones or Cameras are not allowed during the activities.

7. They take pictures of you and sell it at a high price.

8. You are prohibited to take a picture of those flashed in the computer monitors.

9. They have coin machines as tokens just like in USS or Disneyland.

My expectations is quite low on this because I've already tried sky diving a year ago. I'm just curious on how thrilling the ride is.

Tried this on a Sunday night and was a bit excited surprisingly. My travel date didn't want to try it with me so I bought one of their package which cost about PHP 1K++ which is cheap for a foreigner for three rides. Took the package that has the Edge coaster, the Sky Walk and the Zip line.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they will give you a magnetic rubberized bracelet which serves as your ID to the rest of the theme park. They have bag counters where they keep your stuff safely while you enjoy the rides. The first ride I tried is the edge coaster which tilts to a 35 degree angle at the edge of the building. You're sitting in what looks like a roller coaster seat. There's nothing else strapping you to the seat but just a metal in between and over your legs. There is a control dial right in front of you so you can adjust the tilt which is very straightforward. The staff will instruct you on what you can and cannot do right before the ride. It looks amazing up there with all the lights twinkling like stars. The intensity of this ride is not so intense unless you really have a fear of heights then this is really a good start. Now after the ride, this is where they will really earn from you since cameras and phones are prohibited, the pictures cost about PHP 250 each.

Next, tried the sky walk. There will be lockers provided for you. If you are not wearing rubber shoes, they have some available but you have to buy socks which cost about 10 or 20 pesos. ***Kaching!*** dollars down the drain again. The skywalk intensity got a little higher from the Edge coaster cause you are wearing a jumpsuit and there's a long string strapped at your back connecting to the cable right up the ceiling. The cables/ropes used are very sturdy like those used for mountain climbing. The ramp/walkway is 1 meter wide at the sides of the building so make sure you watch where you're going. It is open so any missed stepped will make you fall off the ramp so be careful. You will walk in groups together with one photographer and the instructor. I was with a group of Korean teenagers who were really nervous the entire time. They will take lots of pictures of you here, one sitting at the edge of the ramp and one a foot away from the edge of the ramp. After the ride..*** Kaching!** make sure to pic only the best from their shots. You will also get a certificate from this.

Next is the zipline 38 stories high crossing from one tower to another. I haven't tried zip lining, I was really anticipating for it. Now I really felt the thrill after climbing up a series of stairs. It looks like I'm at the 40th floor of the building. I was the only one there and the photographer and the guy who will unleash my safety rope so I can slide down to the other tower. It was a little scary at first because it was really high you can see the cars moving below you and there are people crossing the streets. It was a bit windy and I can feel the chill in the air. Then I saw some lightning from afar. And I thought, I have to get over this. So I said I'm ready. He released the latch and I screamed 5 seconds before reaching the other side. It was quick, I wish it was longer. I had really good shots from this site another **Katching!** I think I spent a total of PHP 2,500 for the whole experience.

Give it a try. Its worth it. They have lots of fun things to do.

being the adventurous type as i am, i would really consider it a mortal sin not to try the Crown's Sky Adventure as one of my itineraries.. it was fun, quite thrilling, and unique.. the staff were okay though sometimes some were not as accommodating..

however, i didn't like the fact that the photos costs more than what you pay for the ride itself.. it is a very big disappointment especially to those who wanted the experience to be such a big part of themselves. it's okay to make a business out of the pictures but not to such extent. P230 for each printed photo? how selfish is that? how much does each photo paper costs? and it's a digital camera for heaven's sake.. does it costs that much to transfer the files to the computer? i mean, it's just absurd to charge that much for a single photo.

yes you offer us a deal of fun..but please be consumer-friendly as well.. not everyone can afford such luxury. all we want is fun and something for the tale and memories..be considerate..

While paying P1500 for the two activities- Edge Coaster and Skywalk and another P600 for the 7 pictures was alright, I cannot believe the customer service we received. It was a horrible experience for someone paying that amount for 13 minutes of hanging over the edge. The employees there seem to be tired of their jobs and/or disgusted with tourists who by the way are the only reason they still have their jobs. We went up to 19th floor to buy the tickets. First the scan machine was not working so they gave us a piece of paper as entrance tix that nobody from the activity floors recognize. Mind you there's only the two of us and another group of 4 Korean girls, how hard can you manage such a crowd? Upon entering the Edge Coaster floor they said we can put our things in a locker for a P200 deposit (without receipt). We were not allowed to use our own camera and goPro when on the coaster or walk (bummer) We tried the Coaster first, went around and quarter of the way through we stopped and guy shouted 'pictures!' We smiled and then the ride was finished in a li'l over 2 minutes. Then we went one floor up for the Skywalk. Again we showed the piece of paper and the receptionists made a fuss about it before confirming downstairs that it was legit. My fiance's watch was to be left in their drawer w/o any receipt, they said 'oh it's fine we know it's yours.' We waited for about 15 minutes to get ready with the blue and orange (awful) suit and harness. I was anxious and I wanted to the the Skywalk before the sunsets, because duh, doing that when it's dark is not really appealing. You won't be able to see the mountains on one side and sea on the other... and so we didn't see it because we went out the walk when the sun was down already. The guides were rude and almost arrogant. They guided us in, made 3-4 stops for pictures and that's it! My god! Like where we there just for pictures??? The guides didn't even say anything about Cebu! I wouldn't recommend this unless they change their personnels. We took some time to take a few rounds of pictures, took our stuff from the locker and the watch from the drawer and went our way.
