Beach escape

Agho Island is located in Concepcion town, Iloilo Province about 2 hours drive from Iloilo City. A nice place to meditate and enjoy some degree of isolation.

"OMG, Ang ganda! (With nga-nga, teary eyed expression)" that was my reaction when we finally got to Agho Island. It is a 45 minutes boat ride from Lo-ong concepcion, The island was ravishing! According to Wikipedia (A little history for you guys) Japanese soldiers landed on Agho during World War II, although they did not stay as they had a... More

They also offer a overnight stay here but you will have some tent or rent one. But i must recommend to stay at sandbar beach resort rather in this place... More

I didn't want to leave the place. We just stopped over the island during our island hopping, we should've stayed there instead of staying at Sandbar Resort. I'm gonna be back and i'll bring my parents with meeeee. The place is just lovely.

This island is bit of heaven for beach and nature lovers in general. The sand varies from powdery white to seashell-dotted. It is right smack in the middle of nowhere and you have great views of the surrounding islands as well. Everywhere you look is just breathtaking, from morning till sundown. I recommend visiting the tourist center of Concepcion before... More

we've been there last March 24, 2016. it was a 2 and a half hour ride from the Tagbak Terminal to Concepcion. From the main island to the Agho Island was approximately a 30-minute boat ride. the beach was clean. the water is clear. You could go island hopping.

Visited and spent overnight in this island after climbing Mt. Pan de Azucar. This island is so peaceful and we were the only guest during that time. Solar lights are available and cottages are for rent. Camping is allowed. Just pay entrance fee. No restaurant but the good thing is, the caretaker has live crabs ready for steaming for only... Its a good place for adventure seekers who seeks sancturay there's no resort there so you should bring your foods and if your gonna go camping your gonna cook for your own food. You should also bring your drinking water. There's already a... More
