The Opendore, part of the Howland Stone Store complex is interesting and well worth the walk over to while at the stone store. As far as I know there is no entry fee.
The home is recently beautifully renovated with several rooms devoted to the area's history and the equal rights endeavors of local people. Several displays show the area and different periods of involvement in various historical events. The upstairs room has many displays focused on Women's Voting Rights and area leaders in the campaign.
It is truly beautiful. Parking is on a gravel lot at the side or along the road. Entry is at the front. Be sure to check for open hours before heading there.

I am pretty sure I reviewed this place a few months ago after my visit, but my review seems to have disappeared. Anyways, I first found this place quite by accident while on a road trip across New York State............however it was closed. I always wanted to return and finally did, after making contact in order to make sure it would be open. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Two well trained docents told us all about the building and the era and it was all so interesting.
