We defaulted to the train and much to our surprise found it clean, comfortable, quick, affordable and easy - and a chance to see the Russian countryside... More

Very convenient way to travel from center to center. Easy access and comfortable wagons. Restaurant also if needed some small to eat. Or then travel at 1st class and get served at your seat. You may also pre-order meal. Internet exists at train but fails sometimes. Giver you possibility to work while traveling.

Travelling between Moscow and SPB by plane just makes no sence. Sapsan will quickly transfer you from city center to city center with comfort and minimum bureaucracy/security checks.

We had taken a river cruise for 8 days from Moscow to St. Petersburg, stayed one day there and then hopped on the Sapsan Bullet train (bought the tickets via internet prior to traveling) to return in a mere 4 hours! Amazingly fast!

Enjoyed our journey from Moscow to St Petersberg. Train was clean, warm and comfortable. Had to walk to buffet car for a glass of wine although there was a trolley service for soft drinks

Comfortable. Fast. Good food. I took the Sapsan to St. Pete's for a 24 trip. Two of my colleagues flew. I beat them there!!! The only... More
