Nice zoo, but still worse than the zoo in Berlin or Prague, to my personal opinion. Worse in mood: less place for animals, everything is a little more grey... Still the territory is big, a lot of animals, and a lot of snack-boothes, toilets, souveniers....More

Moscow zoo is nice to visit on a cloudy day. It is something different than the beautiful city, but for small children it is lots of fun. It is a big zoo so take your time. Children till 7years have free entrance.

The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by
Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights
Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers
along with the White House - where the Russian
government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and
casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo,
National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of
fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral
