Beautiful clean city park

The park is beautiful and clean, and I wish I could see it in bloom - daffodil greens are up, but no flowers yet.

Unfortunately, we visited Gorky park last week, which was cold for my standards. During this period of year I don't think that one has a lot of stuff to do here that's why we only saw no more than 10 people in total. I am sure that during spring time is much better, however I was a bit disappointed as... More

Visited this huge park in April. Although it was nice peaceful quite and big, the only problem was that in April it's still almost winter in Russia so there was almost no green at all, few people wandering and it seemed kind of abandonded. But pretty sure that it's worth to visit in sprin and summer!

We got there fairly early and had the park to ourselves virtually. As like virtually everywhere in Moscow the place is spotless of litter. This day was bitterly cold and snowy but we walked all around the park. There are many attractions closed due to the time of year but I can imagine this is a "go to " place... More

My husband and I went there mid-April. It was unseasonably cold for that time of the year. Almost everything inside the park was closed and boarded up (understandably, I guess..). It was empty, grey and depressing. But if I squint my eyes and use my imagination I can see the potential in this place to be really lovely in warm... More

Famous for the William Hurt film of the same name Gorky Park is a great place to visit especially now they have the Garage Art Gallery. A fabulous institution with an excellent cafe. We saw a fabulous exhibition and its worth taking student ID for free entry. The bonus being 55 passes for a senior ticket so I got in... More

We went to Gorki park and were very excited to see this famous park. Well....it is not that interesting, at least not in April. The park is under renovation and there was not much live there and basically nothing interesting there. I guess this is more for families with kids or for the summer time. The walk beside the river... More
