We loved the Kazan cathedral. A beautiful small church with great atmosphere. Best when the bells are ringing. Don't miss it when in Moscow

We haven't been inside of it, but we were amazed about the Architectural Beauty of it outside. It is very colorful, has wonderful details and, although it is less diverse, it can compete with the St. Basil Cathedral.

Visiting the Red Square you may tend to overlook the Kazan Cathedral, an actual hidden gem, modest in all its glory and in full service. I wish I could follow the Palm Sunday ceremony one day. A beautiful interior .

The Kazan Cathedral is a beautiful Russian Orthodox Church located opposite State History Museum at the corner of Red Square. The Cathedral is still functioning and worth to pay a visit inside if you have time there.

Can't miss this particularly beautiful church at the north side of Red Square. A pleasure to see and even more beautiful on the inside. It's a functioning place of worship so make sure to go inside to see the frescos but at an appropriate time.
