It is worth every minute you spend there ... I have never seen such a nice museum of ancient arts and treasures! The waiting lines in summer months are long ( weekdays and winter months are less crowded ) so do an online reservation first to get in quickly ! And bring plenty of time ... you will need it... Its a really grand and magnificent museum. If one would want to go through it thoroughly a few days might be required. But half a day is all right for quick run through.

The museum was kept so nicely that no one can even touch the walls which were gold plated. The staff and the guides at the museum are very friendly. I will suggest everyone to go and visit this place.

This palace is quite amazing and should not be missed. Choose your time of day carefully to avoid the long queues.

Possibly one of the best collections of art in the world. The stunning lavish palace compounds is by itself a good enough reason to visit too. Can easily take up a full day.

Didn't do any research before the arrival, but after arriving from the "backdoor" of Hermitage ( if you buy tickets from internet, you can skip the que). We were with two small children and enjoyed every minute of the art.

Since last visited in 1979 a huge amount of money has been invested in renovation. The palace is absolutely stunning and the Great Church and the Peacock Clock are incredible.
