All four are completely different - this is undoubtedly another architectural sculptural masterpiece of the city.

Just a stone's throw from the metro station. "Gostiny Dvor", woth crossing by back and forth to admire the sculptures and the beautiful handrail. From the bridge you can enjoy river views, and many of the city´s beautiful buildings and mansions standing on the banks of the Fontanka River.

We passed by the Anichkov bridge during our canal cruise. At the 4 corners of the bridge, you can find a horse sculpture with their tamer. Sculpture looks very real!.
Highly recommended

The bridge crosses the Fontanka River and is famous for the statues of four horses called the Horse Tamers. It is one of the highlights of Nevsky Prospekt and well worth seeing.

Anichkov Bridge is one of the some bridges located in Saint Petersburg. It is located in the Nevski Prospekt (Nevski Avenue, in English), the most important shopping street in the city. It is nice and very centrical. Ok.

Anichkov Most is one of a few attractions that make SPb SPb. It is more than just an attraction - SPb has many of those. Yes, we all can enjoy Klodt's creations and complain about traffic and crowds. However, IMHO, visiting SPb assumes staying on the bridge and looking at the four horses.

We rode across this bridge several times during our three days in St. Petersburg. It’s right on Nevsky Prospekt and is the most famous bridge over the Fontanka River. There are four distinctly different horses at each corner.

It is the oldest and most famous bridge across the Fontanka River in Saint Petersburg. It has been fully restored after bombing of II World War. You can still see the bullet holes in one of the pedestals of the horse on the right (near Educational Museum) to remind people of the war. Bridge has 4 beautiful horse sculptures, two on each side and amazing iron railing with seahorses. If you look under one horse, you can see a face of a powerful enemy of the tsar. During the II World War horses were removed and buried in the nearby Anichkov Palace garden. I recommend to take time and explore the sculpture of the horses. They are remarkable with all the details.

Not sure exactly what I expected but this bridge is just another bridge with a horse statue at each of the four corners. If you spend any time on Nevsky Prospekt you will traverse this bridge. Likely more than once.

If you’ve hired a Yandex driver, look quick or you may miss it.
