Obviously, the persons portrayed are historically important and the art work is very good. It is not something that would be on a must see list, but if you are walking by, its worth a look.

An iconic monument very relevant to the history of city, commemorating Minin and Pozharsky before their campaign to free Russia from Poles. It's a smaller version of the monument that can be found before the St. Basil's cathedral in Red Square, Moscow. This one dominates...More

The monument is located at the bottom of the hill. You have the monument at the bottom, the church behind it, and the kremlin looking over it from the top - a very nice combination.

Unique monument - almost a copy in Moscow. Past him not to go, because he is on his way to the Kremlin. Not deprived of it to your attention - it is necessary to place in the collection of your travel photos.

go see it at night in summer - come from Pokrovskaya, along the Kremlin wall down to the monument. Amazing! One of the best cultural experiences in Russia. See it and maybe you will understand what is "Russian soul".
