When to see Swan Lake with a Russian friend, it was absolutely fantastic. Our first visit to the ballet and absolutely blown away with skill and energy of the dancing. Opera house looks good and inside the seating is wonderful with no bad views.

Great theatre with renowned creative team in charge. Atmospheric building with beautiful old chandeliers. Book online and collect your ticket as you go in. People were crying at end of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet.

This is an historic building. I was told it was built in 1875. It is very well maintained. A very beautiful building.

This was the perfect thing for us to do on our evening in Perm. We were there for a visiting Japanese conductor - Beethoven's 9th with orchestra and choir. It's a lovely venue and the box office couldn't have bee more helpful - thank you Olga.

Planning a weekend in Perm I've read a lot about its wonderful opera theatre and I could not miss an opportunity to visit it. Luckily, on the only night we could spend in the theatre, they had a symphony orchestra concert. Being in the different city I tried to buy tickets online, but due to some error it was impossible.... I came here to watch the Opera Cosi Fan Tutti which was performed brilliantly. The theatre is grand and beautiful and the acoustics are perfect for music and singing. It was like stepping back in time, in a good way that is. I really enjoyed seeing people dressed up for a night out and the atmosphere in auditorium. A perfect... More

The show was good, I am not a massive opera fan, so the fact that I stayed awake through it is a compliment. I did like the building, it's architecture and atmosphere. The buffet was quite pricey, and the red wine unfit for consumption.

We saw a performance of Brahms German Requiem. The orchestra was superb. The Opera and Ballet house is an intimate venue. If you are travelling to Perm, and enjoy classical music, this is a "must do"!
