Came in the rain, after a day of visiting lots of churches, statues and sites of import. Thus, a bit cynical on approach but clearly this was a Church not to be missed. The highlight of the visit was the concert of chimes by a master who personally collected the bells and reconstructed the tower. Not to be missed.

Beautiful church interior with murals, mosaics and icons. Visit in Winter though, the icons in ice sculptures are really beautiful.

At first of all I really liked visiting to this church and it was first time to this kind of church for me. Not pay to get in but you can get a candle starting from 20 rubles to light it on portraits of holy people.

This Baroque style cathedral took 11 years to build and is set in nice gardens and is surrounded by an elegant fence. There are three iconostasis within the church and of the 650 icons, 400 of them are recognized as having great artistic value. Most of the icons were made in the 18th century. This Cathedral is well worth a... More
