This area is reserved for pedestrians. There are plenty of different cafés, restaurants and stores. Especially the huge shopping mall attracts many people also locals. In the summer time there are also street musicians and you can sit outside.

I stayed in this area for 3 - 4 nights. It's easy to go anywhere both in town and airport. There're lots of nice and fine restaurant around, including shopping mall. So, it's nice place to stay after adventure in Olkhon as I did.
