If you've been in Russia for a few days, chances are you've seen dozens of Lenin monuments, so here's one more. This one is the biggest I've seen however, so it might be worth a visit to take a few pictures. It's on Lenin Square, on Lenina Prospekt, right in front of the Pavlov's house memorial.

Get off the bus immediately it crosses the canal bridge and walk left 20 minutes. I arrived near midday and a good front photo was not possible.

There are Lenin statues all over the country, but it's hard to pass up posing in front of yet another one.

The funny thing is they should have been taken down ages ago, but nobody seems to mind. Anyway this one has Lenin in one of his classic poses and is quite large, so it makes a good... More

OK, you've seen the statue a thousand times on TV, now see the real thing. Awesome, bring your camera!

It is the biggest statue to a person, really lived in the world! It is seen far away. When You are coming to the station - only then You will be able to realize, how big the statue is! It is situated on an embankment, not far from another sight - the first lock of Wolga-Don channel. In the time... More
