After several days working in Guangzhou We found this marvelous place. No tourists around, incredible how they can keep this place so immaculate and well preserved, Entry 10 Yuan, and 150 yuan from city center... way back ask to take driver to leave you at closest metro station, 40 Yuan. The most amazing gardens with bonsais ever!! and customer service... More

Though a little out of the way, it's easy to get to. If you go during the Pineapple Festival in March it's a lot of fun. The temple offers quite a bit to see (more than many) and the other sights and sounds of the festival make for a fun afternoon.

We went here during the Nanhai festival runs around 2-9th March but changes each year. Had a great time, lots to see and a bit of the tourist map, would definately recommend a visit!
