We went there on the Monday of the Qing Ming (Tomb Sweeping) Festival and the place was heaving. We took Line 4 of the metro to Higher Education Mega Centre South and came out of exit B. The bus stop for the village is about 20 metres away. The ride is the usual 2 Yuan and takes about 10 minutes... More

Took my wife and son here, mainly due to a lack of alternatives as we've seen most everything that Guangzhou has to offer. It was a decent day out, fairly quiet by GZ standards and rather peaceful at times. There isn't too much to do perse, rather it's more of a wander and see what you see kind of place.... More

Need a good half day tour to enjoy the replica of olden day Chinese life style activities. Pay attention to the couple of cultural shows timing which are worth watching.

Interesting only to see how locals or schoolchildren might like to spend their spare time. Basically a small collection of ersatz buildings housing tourist craft shops.

It's not a big park, locates near University town of Guangzhou. There are dance show, traditional handicraft show, lots of traditional Southern Chinese desserts and snack, also with physical show of how it made, fantastic. Groups of building, ponds, water wheels, small houses, park...bringing you back some 50 years in early village life. It worths paying half day to cruise... More

If you want to feel old town atmosphere of Guangzhou, here is good. This area is developed to reproduce old town. There are many old style shops. For half day tour, here is interesting place.

Yes, it features a group of old style Canton Style Folk House buildings but it not worth going only for it. The place is very small and charges >RMB 60 for the ticket per pax and not much for sightseeing and no funs for kids. It is very commecial and charrge a lot of money for games. It won't be... More

This is a replica village showing elements of traditional Guangzhou life. Bear in mind there are still 100's (if not 1,000's) of authentic villages around Guangzhou just like this, so one wonders why they bothered? I guess this one is clean! There are a few shows to watch, fake waterfalls and hidden speakers playing birdsong. It's okay, of you are... More
